Practicing Capoeira for over 20 years, I've taught, performed and played in over seven countries, including countless festivals and events. After living in Brazil to study for my instructor belt, I've been involved in grass-roots projects to make Capoeira more accessible for all.
I'm passionate about everything this Afro-Brazilian art-form has to offer, and I am so excited to share that passion and empower more people within the queer community to discover the ways in which Capoeira can increase bodily autonomy, grounding, community and self determination, as a movement born out of resistance and empowerment.
