The Queer Creative Space
We have something for everyone in the space this year with crafts, art expression, games and quizzes. Art materials, some knitting and crochet supplies plus a sewing machine for your drag needs will be available.
Come along and express your thoughts. Each morning will start with an open session for folks to come along and get their creative juices flowing. There will be workshops in crafts and art and games sessions. Gloria Gayer will be here with PopQueer! in the evening, entertaining us with questions on Queer pop music.
Magickal Incense Making
This workshop provides participants with the means to make an incense blend that is tailored to their own identity, spiritual and magical practice, and deities/power animals.
During the workshop, participants will engage in brief guided meditations/journeys to identify the relevant elements of their personalised magickal blend. You will leave with an incense that is entirely their own.

Introduction to Batik Painting
A vibrant Introduction to Batik Painting (open to all, intermediate and the curious).
Queer energy, wax, colour, and pure creative joy!
We will explore ancient batik (Malaysian fabric painting) with a playful, queer twist. It involves an introduction to batik, learning and understanding the patterns and symbolism, followed by painting on batik fabric.

Open Creative Session
Bring your own craft, or come and use the available art supplies we already have in the space.
The games sessions are a space to share your favourite games. Bring your own or share ours with us!
Sunday 5 pm to 7 pm offers an opportunity to play – or learn – cribbage, a favourite card game.
After 9 pm each night the space will be open and lit for social games and crafting.

PopQueer!
PopQueer! Is loosely based on an existing radio quiz with a similar name.
Go head-to-head against your opponent answering ten questions on Queer pop trivia down the ages. The winner of the round goes through to answer The Queen of Questions.
Get it right, win big! Get it wrong, win slightly less big!

Sewing Workshop
This workshop aims to give you some basic skills to get started using an old style Singer hand-crank sewing machine and with a few short cuts to help you to make something small and lovely.

Shamanic Drumming Journey
Embark on a creative journey guided by the rhythmic pulse of the shamanic drum.
Using a rich selection of provided mixed materials, you’ll create an intuitive artwork inspired by the images, emotions and inner landscapes evoked by the drumbeat.

Soul Print Workshop
Through guided body scans and embodied creative exercises, we will imprint experiences onto life-sized forms using a variety of artistic media.
The process is collaborative, with each participant contributing to the creation of collective artworks that reflect shared experiences and diverse perspectives, exploring embodiment, belonging and interconnectedness.
