Herb Walk

Join us for a slow-paced guided walk to meet the medicinal plants growing on site.
We'll stop every few paces to talk about the traditional and modern uses of these herbs as medicine.
We'll share information on correct identification and simple, safe ways to work with these plants at home.

Herb Walk

This guided sensory herb walk offers festival-goers an immersive and educational journey through the world of herbs, blending science, traditional knowledge, and a touch of magic.
Participants will learn to identify herbs in their natural environment, explore their medicinal, culinary, and ritual uses, and engage their senses by touching, smelling, and tasting plants along the way.
Through storytelling, hands-on exercises, and simple ritual practices, the walk reveals the hidden energies and folklore of herbs, fostering a sense of wonder, connection, and practical understanding. It's a transformative experience where education, sensory discovery, and enchantment meet.

Through a guided despacho ritual, we release what no longer serves and clarify intention.

Meet Your Inner Tree - From roots to fruits

An embodied nature & inner connection workshop: We sensorily & imaginatively meet our tree kin to shed, nourish and grow our needs, strengths, resources, dreams, losses and community.
We root our tree in the present through drawing or journalling.
Optional invitation to create a queer community forest at the end.

Meeting the Deity Cernunnos

Cernunnos is a European antlered Deity of the Wild.
He exists in nature, particularly in the untamed places like moorland, mountains and deep forests.
This ritual is intended to introduce people to him, to connect with the wildness outside and the wildness within.

Pachamama Ceremony

We will learn how to make your shrine at home and consecrate it to Pachamama, Mother Earth, to protect you, your house and hour loved ones.
We will open a Huaca together, share our wishes, cleanse our souls, renew our energy and dance Andean music.
We open so the way to the Hanac Pacha, otherwise known as Heaven.

Sensory strategies for neurospicy and neurotypical folk
Based on my experience as a lifelong dancer, complex trauma, occupational therapist and practicer of various spiritual body based practices and somatic practices.
And what I have learned from people with learning disabilities and neurodivergence that I have had the privilege of working with.
There will be a short talk/discussion - what are sensory needs and what are the sensory preferences we have. An intro to sensory integration and body/movement based sensory integration strategies.
I welcome and I invite any neurodivergence or otherwise folks to share their wisdom.

Sing with Nell - Together We Resonate!
We work as a group releasing sound from our bodies through relaxation, eradicating tension, exploring resonance through vocal exercises and techniques.
Moving on to layering harmonies, firstly in two parts, then three and maybe more as confidence grows.
Come release endorphins and bask in joyful harmony singing.

In this singing circle, we reclaim our place in the circle of life as queer beings.

Tree ID for beginners
A walk through the woods onsite to meet the trees, observing their key identifying features, and how they grow and interact in the ecosystem.
We will discuss the needs and wants of different species, what challenges they might be facing, and whether we can help.
