Calu is a mixed race gender queer activist passionate about decolonising identities, visibility, anti-oppression work, inclusive intimacy, and creative pleasure.
Their story has been shaped by internal and external migration journeys. Calu deeply believes the body is a gateway for our healing journeys as individuals and as a community.
As an activist Calu promotes inclusive spaces, works on anti-oppression challenging prejudice and identity-based violence and raises awareness of sexual and gender diversity.
Calu is an experienced facilitator and space holder and has been part of co-creating workshops, rituals, retreats and festivals in several countries.
