A beginners' introduction to comedy writing. Learn how to write short-form material, using simple structures and examples.

Consensual platonic touch space

Join Brighton Cuddle Space's cuddle therapist Bela for a soft exploration of heart-led platonic intimacy via touch structures (eg: group spooning).
Integral to the session is practising compassionate communication techniques for consent and boundary-setting.
Everything is in choice, with no expectation for you to do anything you don't want to (including touch).

Sounds for the Soul

Let's create love and light in music together.
Music making is for everyone, so come and share instruments, and vibe, sit, dance, move, lie down, float away....whatever you're feeling.
Bring mat/blanket/pillow/ instruments if you have, but we provide many: Hand pan, tongue drum, kalimba, berimbau, shruti box, darbuka, daf, singing bowl, guitar and various other cymbals, shakers, drums, and gentle percussion.

Tai ji Quan : Free the Qi

This workshop will be an introduction to this ancient Chinese art which is known to support health, relaxation, resilience, and sacred connection to the Earth.
Working with body alignment and grounding energy, we'll be focusing on releasing blocked Chi by relaxing the body from head to toe, using preparation exercises, Tai Ji Standing, and a full body guided relaxation meditation.
We'll complete the session with some Qi Gong , and an exercise in gratitude, connecting the 3 Heavenly circles: Earth, Sky and all living things.

Wild and Held - Queer Desire, Kink and Power

What becomes possible in the expression of our desires when we feel truly held by ourselves and each other?
Through slow guided practice, and optional partner play, we'll explore how our kinky desires and personal power can become pathways to authentic pleasure Wild & Held centres queer experience, honours diverse desires, and celebrates the many ways we access pleasure, agency, and connection.
