Queer Culture, when seen from a Global perspective, is even more diverse. We may be rooted in very varied different faiths and cultures. Oftentimes, queer people from the GM carve out a path of reconciliation and queering of faith/religion/belief in order to stay grounded in a unique spiritual path that embraces their totality.
Here at our Queer Spirit Festival, how do individuals from different backgrounds find these reflected and respected? What can arise from a more creative interaction? We invite contributions from a range of experiences to lead an exploration of these questions here.
This is especially relevant in the light of recent attacks on principles of diversity and inclusion.
