Tom

Tom  [TNBI Space]

Tom is a queer heathen, shamanic practitioner and celebrant. Through Cormorant Cares, he runs the annual Rising Bird Festival, hosts monthly nature-connection circles in Leeds, and offers workshops and events throughout the year.

Tom came to understand his bisexuality at a young age, but did not fully recognise his gender queerness until he stepped into shamanic work in his twenties. Through gaining a more holistic understanding of himself, and seeing through the constructs our society tries to contain us in, he came to recognise the full extent of his own inner queerness and began his transition.

He is dedicated to supporting others explore all facets of their identities with honesty, care and compassion.

At this year’s Queer Spirit Festival, Tom brings his lived experience and community work to his role facilitating the Trans, Nonbinary and Intersex space.
