The Queer Spirit team have successfully produced 5 well-received, ground-breaking events, building on the roots put down and skills developed since the 1980s in community groups such as the Radical Faeries, Edward Carpenter Community and Queer Pagan Camp.

Up until now the festival has had no corporate or institutional support, but we believe that with the right funding Queer Spirit Festival could grow significantly in size and impact in the coming years.

For the next summer festival, one of our key goals is to keep ticket prices as low as possible in order to make the festival as accessible to as many people as possible. Our aim is to increase numbers attending and raise the budget to include some payments for key workers and performers. The first three festivals were staffed entirely by volunteers, which enabled us to keep prices low and make the festival as accessible as possible to people on the full range of incomes. We believe keeping prices low will help achieve as much positive impact on as many people's lives as possible.
